The disappearing sink – Un-building a building

Today we discovered that they had removed the sink, water supply, etc., in our new premises. The whole worktop surface had been replaced, looking like there had never been a sink there! Last week when I checked, while it was still there, it worked fine! I suspect a major conspiracy here – somebody in Campbell Catering Ltd is messing with senior management at UL, to make sure that we cannot make our own coffee and tea (at cost price), to ensure continued extortion of both faculty and students in their over-priced and bad and low quality cafes and restaurants.
I suggest a total boycott on Campbell catering, until we get things the way we want them!

This sounds like we're about to get into Catch 22. When you open your parachute, you get a shareholders cert ffrom the parachute company.

We know that Campbell's Catering are evil, but at the same time it's illegal to change major fittings of the building that were down in the plan.
So, not only we should boycott Campbells, but we should bring this fact to the attention of UL...and make a lot of noise about it!

What the Hell? The nearest water facility for drinking water would be in the adjacent building, that is clearly and definitely against Health and Safety regulations so they can't remove our access to drinking water. As for the Campbells idea, its probably true and after this well I don't think we should stop with John O'Connor but rather kick up stick with everyone from Roger etc down.

What is it tended that be done for people visiting the IDC? It appeared from the layout that the common area was a place for people to wait and normally it would considered polite to offer people tea/coffee.

Well, luckily we have our prototyping lab - with a working sink. This sink is, of course, strictly for weird and dangerous experiments. If you use it for beverages, you never know what'll be in you coffee...

Has anyone else stopped the other deliberate mistake in the building layout? There is a patio style window in the lab that will allow large heavy items to be lifted straight into the lab by a vehicle such as a forklift. However, the posts as you walk in from the Foundation building area prevent any vehicle accessing the courtyard. You could, I suppose, try and get a jeep across the green in front of the white house!

The jeep idea is awesome!!!!
Let's do it and then crash it into the new Campbell's catering headquarters!!!!

Does someone have a larger portable stereo and the themem music to the A-Team? These items would be necessary for any jeep crashing we might do.
